Earl Marriott Football Club

2016 Announcement

DSC_1291

Last week at the BC High School Football Executive Meetings, it was announced the following changes to Divisional alignments.

Among the changes, it was announced that Earl Marriot would move up to the AAA Pacific Regional Division joining Rutland, Salmon Arm, Argyle, West Vancouver and Charles Handsworth. The last few seasons, Marriott has played at the Tier 2 or Single A level and winning the last two Provincial Championships. To play at the AAA level, your designation is based upon school size – the number of male students in grades 11 & 12 and past success.

” Our Coaching staff feel that we will be very competitive in this division and we are looking forward to the challenge as we continue to grow our brand here @ Marriott. Our success starts right now as we train and prepare during the off season.”

The pre-season schedule shows that Marriott has that challenge in mind with a home opener vs Hugh Boyd, a solid Football school.

DSC_4599We’re going to need lots of support again this season. We are planning on having 3 or 4, of our 5 home games on Saturdays so more friends and family can come out and support our team.
