Championship Game on Sat!

The EMS Mariners will be in tough this Saturday (9:30 am) at BC place in the BCHSF Tier II Varsity Championship game Vs. Howe Sound. Even though the Mariners went undefeated this season with a decisive win over Howe Sound. That was Howe Sound’s only loss and they we’re only 7 points behind the Mariners in Points Differential.

I thought the Mariners defense was their strongest and most consistent facet of their game. Howe Sound gave up 15 fewer points than EMS all season, even with the Mariners 50-22 win vs Howe Sound in week 1. Howe Sound should be a angry bunch, ready to exact revenge against the only team to beat them.

The mariners will need their best effort of the season to come away with their second straight Tier II Championship. Tickets are available from the players and coaches if you want to come out and turn BC Place Mariner Green!
